The Damned World

Fairytale never exists..

First of all let me remind you that there aren't any spoilers here. Therefore if you planned to watch the movie but wanted to hear what people say about it, you can finish reading the entire part.

"Just a brief introduction, Skeeter Bronson(Adam Sandler) was the son of a failed hotel owner. As the business wasn dying, his dad was forced to sell the hotel to Barry Nottingham (Richard Griffiths)who promises to make Skeeter manager, when he's grown up and has proven himself. Nottingham pulls down the motel to raise a pricey hotel. Although grown up, Skeeter works as a janitor and general servant, but unlikely as it seems, he still dreams of becoming the manager. When Nottingham announces a brand-new gigantic hotel project, he makes his future son-in-law, base Kendall (Guy Pierce), manager, shattering Skeeter's dream. At the same time Skeeter's sister Wendy (Courtney Cox) has to leave town for a job interview and asks him to alternate looking after her two children Patrick (Jonathan Morgan Heit) and Bobbi (Laura Ann Kesling) with Wendy's responsible-minded colleague Jill (Keri Russell). He doesn't get along with either Jill or the children, but his easy-goingness loosens them all up and once he starts telling his bedtime stories, the children grow fond of him and begin to bring in their ideas about how the stories should go. When the stories turn out to become true in real life, Skeeter tries to manoeuver the stories into a direction which will make his dream come true, too."

The flow of the story in the first part before Adam Sandler meet the kids was usual and pretty much expected. After he discovered that what the kids said could come true, the story became unpredictable for much people to guess. In fact at the ending, where everything had to be turned out right, there were abrupt sharp twist to the flow to make everything right.

The story is definitely entertaining, that is something you can expect all the way to the ending(unless adam sandler gets out of the picture but don't worry about that). There is also a soft subtle touch of family kinship and a dash of rommance. Every Adam Sandler has a message to send across, this is not hard to know as well although it is quite goofy and people normally just watch the show for the entertainment and doesn't bother to discover the morality. I shall leave that to you.

The movie is worth 8 out of 10(i bet a simple equation like this is what you all expect to see in a review rite?).

Like: Entertaining, Hilarious, quite touching
Dislike: twists in the story (but that is nothing)

You certainly cannot miss this show else you will be forced to remain slient when the people around you talks about it.
