The Damned World

Fairytale never exists..

Just for Laughs!

Had a great hangout on friday night before Geoffrey left for Australia.

We spoke of a lot of things. Mostly army.

There were fun, nostalgic, embarassing, hateful and unusual ones.

Into the future, time may drift the relationship apart and perhaps more of the chaps will disappear or uncontactable.

Unfortunately the night it always too short to savor the great moment.

Of course in such event we need a nice group photo to commemorate.

This is the best part

Here is another one from the Singapore Science centre.

I think is will be the savior of all the petrol guzzlers. Hopefully that will be it.

Visited the Singapore Science Centre a few days ago. There were many amusing things. Some not really science. It has been some time ago since I last dropped by although I live very near it.

I will try to post some things that was rather amusing later.

Meanwhile you can check this out.

Alright here we go.. The last thing for CNY this year.

Just a random joke that i seen before..

In case you dun understand chinese, here is the translation:

Eh brudder, that indian guy over there hor, He talk si beh funny

The "fantastic" river Ang Bao on a floating platform.

Welcome to the year of Ox.

As i was saying there were a lot of families.

And this was the vast crowd that thronged the entrance

The Inside

This was taken on the floating platform. From where i was, the god of fortune appeared to have a greenish face. perhaps Singapore was trying to hint that fortune is going to be sick this year because of the presence of financial turmoil. Unfortunately with my camera phone, it couldn't get the color accurately..

The terrific food market showcasing chinese tradition food. You can get some satays and kebabs if you like over there.

To be honest, that was basically what was available this year. Pretty little compared to previous years.

Another thing during day 1 of the chinese new year is that many people would visit temples to pray to the gods(commonly Wealth, luck, weAlth, safety ,wEaltH, peace, health, wealth, etc).

The next post i will show you how it looked like on Day1 of cny at the most famous temple in Singapore .
See you soon
