Thanks to a bit of lousy humour i laid in my msn nick, the word 'gay' seemed to revolve around for the past few days. People joked and repeat gay over and over again in every scenarios and topics. I think it is time to change it.
Since i can't find any holiday job, i have the free time to do my own cooking. It has been some time since i made anything decent. Most of the time were just those easy to cook types.
Cooking is actually very simple. Just know what you want to eat, the flavours you would like to include and prepare them. I have to admit having someone to make dinner together with you can be much more fun and entertaining. But sometimes too many people preparing can be rather messy, especially when my kitchen is rather narrow.
My dish is a simple sweet, sour, spicy and a bit salty beef stir fry with carrots and mushrooms. Yes 4 flavours in this dish beginning with the letter 'S'.
Sweet - tomato
Sour & Spicy - Tom Yam
Salty - Salt lah!
Thats all i thought of and i went straight to cooking it.
Some people choose to do it academically by having the trouble of watching youtube before actually cooking which i think is really unnecessary for a simple dish unless you want your 1-man portion dinner to have complicated aromatic fragrance with more uncommon incredients.
Some photos of the dish while preparing it. I didn't bothered to present the final result on a premium crafted plate with a color that contrast with the food complemently, so it may not look good with a simple 2 mega pixel picture without auto focus.
Alright besides the food, my next topic is the way girls are obssessed over the discussion of male movie stars has seemed to be increasing over gossips of friends and the latest serials and fashions. Favourites at recent are Robert Pattinson(after Twilight), Zac Efron(after 17 Again) and now Sam Worthington(Terminator Salvation).
I recalled back to an article i read about reading too much fashion magazine is unhealthy as it lowers an individual's self-esteem when he/she compares themselves over the model's figure. It explained that teenagers became anorexic because they want to have the perfect figure of the models they saw in the magazines. However it also explained that pictures in these magazine have always undergone 'Electronic Cosmetic Surgery'.
If this is so, then would the discussion of their hot and illusive characters the male movies stars portrays affects their esteem towards their male partners?
Anyway i am being unfair here standing up for men. Same goes to guys who criticize the mild imperfection of female figure and those who think they are too good looking for anyone.
These all come down to the fact that this damn world is so realistic. When you were young, you try to choose the best of material and looks. Then when as you got old and ran out of choices, you stuck with somebody who isn't your ideal.
Anyway this is what it is and i can't see where i am heading. So with this i shall end my random thought awkwardly leaving you feeling that you have wasted your past 5 minutes reading the 2nd half of this post. My apologies.
